BHDA co-founder and partner C. Robert Heath will present a program on redistricting at the Houston Area Municipal Attorneys (HAMA) meeting on January 27th.
Mr. Heath’s presentation “Texas Cities and Redistricting” will address the changes in representation the new census will bring, the basic law of redistricting, and the process for getting through the redistricting cycle successfully.
Considered an expert on the subject of redistricting, Mr. Heath has represented numerous government entities in the redistricting process over the course of his career. In addition to frequently speaking on the subject at local, state, and national conferences, he is often sought out to write about and comment on redistricting issues.
Since its founding in 1980, the Firm has been involved with redistricting for the State of Texas as well as hundreds of Texas local government entities.
